Oomiak was engaged to build and install the refrigeration services for Rand Transport’s refrigerated distribution facility in Hazelmere, Western Australia.
Rand Transport is a leading national refrigerated transport, cold storage and distribution services provider.
The Perth facility is situated on a 5.6 hectare site in Hazelmere.
A 3,500m2 fully refrigerated dock operates 21 fully insulated dock doors. The large cross-docking facilities enable the storage of both short and long term refrigerated product.
Oomiak’s work included the design and installation of refrigeration systems to support multi temperature rooms capable of operating at temperatures between -25°C and +15°C.
The system is designed to allow for the addition of a future plant and equipment in line with future intended change in use of the tenancy areas.
