Project Overview
Following on from our work on the Central Refrigeration Plant Oomiak also provided individual tenancy side refrigeration at the new Melbourne Wholesale Fruit, Vegetable and Flower Centre built in Epping, Victoria.
Contracted separately by Schiavello and the Costa Group, Oomiak was able to design, install and commission more than 20 tenancy refrigeration systems.
The Tenancy Cooling System is a tertiary glycol reticulated cooling system, designed to provide cooling to temperature controlled areas within each tenancy.
This is achieved using the Oomiak designed and constructed Central Refrigeration Plant (CRP) as the cooling source.
The system circulates glycol through the CRP plate heat exchanger where it is chilled before it is supplied to ceiling mounted air coolers in each temperature zone.
