Project Overview
Grove Fruit Juice’s processing facility in Warwick, Queensland squeezes 50,000 tonnes of citrus fruits and apples a year at full production
As part of the development, Grove Fruit Juices needed to install a new process cooling plant to meet initial requirements and enable the system to be easily expanded as production growth demands.
Oomiak provided a solution with the supply of refrigeration plant associated with the installation of a brine chiller to serve the new process plant. Key objectives included:
- Design and installation of an effective, efficient and reliable refrigeration plant
- Control philosophy to provide energy efficient refrigeration plant operation
- Safety as priority throughout the installation phase and ongoing operation
- Designed and constructed in accordance with relevant construction standards
- Future expansion capability inbuilt within the design
- Where practical, initial cost is minimised without impacting design objective
