Project Overview
Foodbank Western Australia is a not for profit organisation which aims to redistribute surplus food stocks from industry and primary producers to Western Australians in need.
Foodbank WA constructed a new facility at the Perth Airport to receive, sort, store and distribute a varied range of food products including items requiring critical temperature control.
Oomiak was engaged to supply, install and commission refrigeration equipment to serve the refrigeration services for the new warehouse facility.
Following the design brief, Oomiak paid particular attention to:
- Equipment quality in line with the expected facility life
- Electrical efficiency through specific equipment selection
- Refrigerant choice that realistically minimises Foodbank’s carbon footprint
