Project Overview
CSL are biotechnological researchers and working for A. G. Coombs, Oomiak executed project works at their Broadmeadows, VIC site.
The Oomiak team connected a series of condensing and evaporator units. These freon refrigeration systems were required within the Base Fractionation Facility as well as their freezer/warehouse.
Oomiak installed interconnecting pipework across 4 levels between condensing units and both primary and back up evaporators inside each conditioned space. This project comprised the supply and installation of:
- Interconnecting freon refrigerant pipework
- Piping insulation and cladding
- Pipe supports
- Roof top penetration over flashing
- Liquid and suction stop valves
- Pressure testing
- Refrigerant charge and oil supply
- Commissioning and operational testing
