Project Overview
Oomiak were engaged by CIP Constructions to design, supply, install and commission a new refrigeration system serving various cool rooms within a new warehouse facility for Calendar Cheese in Truganina.
The plant consists of a packaged glycol chiller set that is located in a dedicated plant area. This unit is sized to meet the combined peak cooling load from the site. Secondary pumps circulate chilled glycol from the chiller to the under ceiling air coolers located in each of the cool rooms.
A buffer storage tank has also been implemented in order to improve chiller control and minimises temperature fluctuations by increasing circuit volume.
