Project Overview
Oomiak was engaged to design and install the refrigeration services for JAT Refrigerated Transport’s new refrigerated distribution facility center in Mackay, QLD.
The 5816m² facility includes office, chiller, freezer and load out dock, with a total refrigerated space of 660m².
Oomiak’s work included the design and installation of refrigeration systems to support multi temperature rooms capable of operating at temperatures between -30oC and +15oC.
Due to the general size of the rooms and the split of temperatures multiple independent freon refrigerated systems to the Annex Room and the Freezer Room along with a standalone freon refrigerated system to the Chiller Room were designed and installed by Oomiak.
