Project Overview
The Melbourne Market Authority required an additional coolroom in the National Flower Centre.
Oomiak was engaged to design and install a purpose built coolroom to meet specific conditions required to maintain the quality of fresh flowers.
The scope included:
- Full design
- Structural works
- Electrical services
- Insulation
The existing tertiary glycol reticulation circuit at the Melbourne Market (designed and installed by Oomiak) was extended to serve the coolroom with each area being served by a bi-flow under ceiling air cooler.
